Through the project, setting up new principles and the destruction of the invisible but still more than present barriers, among the children with proper growth and development and children with disabilities – creating a safe and stimulating community for acceptance and cooperation, are in one place. This would mean achieving equal opportunities and inclusion of children with disabilities.
The idea is to build a children’s inclusive playground, which would extend to 450 m2 equipped with requisites adapted for children with disabilities, but also those with lighter and more severe physical obstacles, thus creating a safe, stimulating community of acceptance and cooperation, in which everyone is valued.
The funds from the project are intended for procurement of balance swing, swings for children, carousels, basket on the lower level, a large castle with ramps, sand pools, which would be at a distance that allows the uninterrupted movement of wheelchairs and other types of devices, paving the playground with rubber basement, construction of a water fountain, installation of LED lighting, benches for rest, bins.
RESULTS:
Socialization of children and their parents and encouraging interest in sports activities.
Encouraging social integration, inclusiveness and openness for equal opportunities for children with physical disabilities.
